The House that Pat Built...

Life Book 2015, Week 7, led by Violette Clark.  We are to draw a magical house.

Rather than draw a house on a journal page, I chose to build my house based on a small quilted self portrait; paint it using Neocolor II water soluble wax pastels; cut it up and sew it together.  The words outside represent the feelings inside my house.  I live in a truly happy home.

I love that. Brings art to a different level. So then what do you do with it next? I think I might add that to my list of things to do

Pat you're so creative. I'm jealous. I quite literally have trouble drawing a straight line with a ruler.

Thanks for sharing at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/02/bathing-in-bubble.html

Pat, I LOVE your house and what you have created, both physically and spiritually! Such a wonderful reflection of who you are and what you do!

I'm SO excited to share your art at this week's Inspire Me Monday Party at Create With Joy! (Week 164!)
